Is it possible to include this option as in Flashget?
It is great to check when the files are updated
TIA

There is a manual option under Help-section in the main window.

It's been more than a year and this option still not implemented, why?
The feature is very useful as in flashget, where you can check for updates for already downloaded files.
Also, why the files don't keep the original date/time stamp?
Flashget and DownThemAll (firefox extension) do keep the time/date stamp from server.
TIA
ps. does anyone know any other downloader with this function?

I have tested it, and the latest version 2.7.2 works correctly for me.

Besides FlashGet, I don't think there are any other free managers that do that, which is a pitty. On Free Download Manager (FDM) board, it can be seen that users keep reminding developers to implement this feature too, so hopefully it will be there one day. Also there is a russian language only manager, which does that and is for free - Download Master (this manager is a monolingual version of Internet Download Accelerator). So if there are any russians here, - take a note ![]()

Thanks JCM, I'm trying IDA, it works very good, let's hope for the feature to be implemented in orbit

The topic, requesting this feature on the FDM board, the link to which I gave previously, has recently became "sticky". So perhaps this feature will be available sooner in FDM, then in Orbit.
