To begin with, Orbit Downloader is undoubtedly a very admirable product!
However, there's one big problem I can't fix myself, and that is that all downloaded files keep having the .ob! extensions even after the download is completed.
If it's one file, the unnecessary .ob! extension can be erased manually, but if I download a batch of 300 files from the same page using the "Download all by Orbit" tool, and all of them have that .ob! extension, then this process of erasing extensions is becoming a bit annoying.
Here's some information you might find helpful:
- I've already tried to check the "Amend file extensions when the download is completed", but to no avail. Then I unchecked it back, nothing changed either.
- OS Windows Vista SP2.
- Avira Antivir; can't find a list of programs it doesn't trust if there's any.
- Had a similar problem with Download Master (the program didn't remove the "provisional" extensions), that's why I've chosen to try out the Orbit software. Hadn't ever encountered such an issue until May or June this year (after that I reinstalled the whole system and added SP2 to my Windows Vista.
Hope you can help me find a solution to the problem I've come across.
In any event, I thank you all very much in advance!
Best regards!
