When I open a new tab in IE8, I get the AVG Secure Search page. When I uncheck the "Show AVG Secure Search Box" and click OK, nothing happens. I still get this when I open a new tab. I am using the latest version (4.1.0.9). I have all the IE8 AVG toolbars disabled and still get this. I am going to uninstall that version and install the last version which didn't do that.(4.1.0.7) and not update until I know that this has been fixed. OK, you are exonerated. I didn't have the problem when I was using v4.1.0.7, but when I updated to v4.1.0.8 I noticed it. Updating to v4.1.0.9 didn't change that, so I uninstalled Orbit and installed v4.1.0.7 which I didn't have the problem with before. I still had the problem, so I uninstalled that again and still had the problem. I tried Google Chrome and it had AVG secure search as it's home page now. I looked for something independent of both IE8 and Chrome and found an AVG program in the Windows Program Files directory. I uninstalled that and the problem was gone and I could install v4.1.0.9 without the problem. I must have picked up the program with another recent installation. I appologize for suspecting Orbit, but the circumstantial evidence was convincing.

I think that zoneAlarm application now places up a Security plug-in managed by Road. If you later want to remove the plug-in, the most practical way is to remove ZoneAlarm and then do a personalized set up and deselect the plug-in choice.

I had a request regarding my username, and I attempted to email support through the support page by clicking on the "Email" button. I can enter information in the required fields and write my question, but when I click "Submit," I get an error that my "title is too short" or something like that.
