Orbit won't download files???
Hi there,
I've recently had probs with Orbit, as I've had to reset all my IE back to it's original state.
Now orbit isn't coming up as my preferred downloader, when you force it to TRY and d'load a file the 'Create New Download' box appears and is filled in but it won't recognise how big the file is???
I have uninstalled and re-installed Orbit twice now and to no avail 
I currently have Orbit Version 4.0.0.6 and IE 8.0.6001
I'm guessing it's missing a tick in a box some where!!!
Any ideas????

Really appreciate this post. It’s hard to sort the good from the bad sometimes, but I think you’ve nailed it!

When can we expect Orbit to find a solution for the problem of downloading dummy files of 1.7MB while trying to download videos from YouTube?.

try use older flash player...don't know if it will work for you or not but it seems to work with me...there is still sometime(rarely) the size cannot be recognize but you can just refresh the page.
I use Flash player ver 11.0.1.152
